Log of Patrols
31st March 1942 | Arrived Malta during an
air raid & discharged white oils at Shell Pier. Moved to Hamilton
Wharf in Grand Harbour at dawn next day. Unloading continued on the 1st
April during an air raid. Pandora
was hit by 2 bombs from Ju 87's & Ju 88's. Two officers & 25 rating
were killed as the boat sank in four minutes. HMS Clyde was also in harbour at this time but sailed in the evening. She was attacked by Me. 109's & had to return to harbour. |
