20th August 1941 | Was sent to the area north of Tripoli
where P32 & P33
were supposed to be. No contact had been made with these 2 boats. Carried out an attack on 4 Liners in heavy seas. Sank the Liner Esperia (11,300 tons) with 3 torpedoes & escaped serious depth charging due to the amount of troops from the ship in the water. |
23rd October 1942 | Sunk in unknown circumstances west of Gibraltar en route from the UK. |
